スクラブルの広島大会で教英生が優勝し、5人の日本代表に選ばれました

明けましておめでとうございます。今年も広大教英をよろしくお願いします。

さて、昨年末に「スクラブル」と呼ばれる英単語作成ゲームの広島大会で、教英生が優勝し、5人の日本代表に選ばれたとの報が、Katherine Song先生から入ってきたので、この場でお披露目をします。

I am very proud to announce that on Saturday, Dec. 17th, Azumi Onari (教英26) took the first place at the 8th annual Hiroshima Inter-University Scrabble Contest.

  Six  Hiroshima University Scrabble Players (HUSPs) Aikokai competed at the event and placed 1st (Azumi), 2nd (Takuya Okuse), and 4th (Haruka Hirose, 4th year Kyoshin). 

Azumi will be one of the 5 players from Japan competing against players from Hong-Kong Scrabble Players Association next April.  The game will take place at Hiroshima International University's Hiroshima City Campus on April 1-2, 2016.
